Give Thanks

Hi everyone!
I have not been posting pictures because its not working, so, I decided to write instead! Since Thanksgiving is very near, I guess I'll focus this on thankfulness.
There is so much to be thankful for, even if we can't see it. In America, we don't always realize what other people's lives are like in other countries, and here we are, thinking our life is just so horrible. Even more so, me, as I'm a Christian in a Christian family, I don't know just how unhappy the lives of people, in America even, are who don't know God, who don't have a loving family, who don't know real love. Though I know what's its like to be lonely, I don't know what its like to be truly lonely. That is why we who are Christians should be ready to tell the lost about the ultimate HOPE, and lonely about the ultimate FRIEND, and the fatherless about the ultimate FATHER. 1 Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what He has done. Here's some songs I love that kind of relate to this: Hope In Front Of Me -Danny Gokey; Unashamed of You -Chris August; Our God -Chris Tomlin.

I'll list some things I am thankful for. (:

 1) God, and my salvation.
 2) My Family, relatives, friends... people!
 3) Love. God is love and love is everything.
 4) The freedom I have in America, and the sacrifices our forefathers made.
 5) Plenty of good food and water.
 6) The abilities God gave me; my drawings, photography, and all!!!
 7) A warm house and plenty of necessities, and also, plenty of non-necessities!
 8) Books: a faithful friend when I'm feeling low... or whenever I feel like reading!
 9) Music; it can bring out emotions and make me feel alive!
 10) Clothes and all... girl things.
 11) Nature. The outside world is just beautiful!
 12) Joy. I am certainly thankful for the joy I can have.
 13) Good movies

Don't take for granted the things you have now, though we probably usually do. I recently moved from the most wonderful home I've ever had. I was a beautiful hobby farm with 40 acres and plenty of wonderful things to take pictures of. I had many wonderful experiences and have many memories there...  From nine to almost fourteen years old I lived there. Then we moved. Now I miss it. I took that wonderful home for granted. You never know how wonderful something is until you don't have it. And if you got it again, you may take it for granted again. That is why we should count our blessings and be thankful right now. Even though I miss my home, I should be thankful for what I have now, because who knows, it might get worse.
Even when things aren't particularly hard, we sometimes might still be unhappy and depressed feeling because we aren't being thankful.

So, when Thursday comes, remember the real cause for the holiday.
Well, I'd better go now. Have a great holiday!
