A Casual Outfit + 19 Things About Me

February is off to a good start. I have another post up already, and we had a couple days of beautiful springgg weather. Yes, I know spring is still over a month away, but it sure felt like spring.
That sunny weather has given way to rain today. And the windshield wipers on the vehicle I drive are junk, so my vision on the way home from work wasn't necessarily top-notch. xP Hey, what do I know about buying and replacing wipers on a vehicle?

Anyway. On one of those beautiful springggg days (Sunday actually), my little sister and I took some photos of each other out in our mini pasture. And our mini woods, which is a part of the mini pasture. *nods* I thought I would share some of the pictures she took for fun and as an "outfit post", and then share nineteen things about myself. Again, for fun. Haha. I will try to think of things about me that I haven't yet shared within five-ish years of blogging!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Antler & Flowers Top: probably $4, Goodwill
AE Artist Crop Ripped Jeans: around $2, garage sale
"Converse" Shoes (they ain't real): $10, Burkes I think

And I wore black leggings under the jeans, as you can see. ;) I had tried a new heatless curling method the night before, which sort of worked. I'll have to try it again and do it better. I added to my hair a little more with a curling iron before taking pictures, but as you can see in the left picture below, it was pretty inconsistent. Lol. It worked for the other pictures.

1 9  t h i n g s  a b o u t  m e

1. My hair is naturally brown, and has never been dyed or highlighted (could change soon, ya never know *winks*)

2. I like brussel sprouts

3. My family has had chickens, goats, cows, cats, dogs, horses, and fish, at some point. Not alllll together, but we did have quite a few at once during one point.

4. We only have 2 dogs right now, and that's it.

5. My oldest sibling is turning 25 this year, and my youngest sibling is turning 1. Both brothers

6. I have scoliosis. And currently not doing anything to improve it, so oops. xP

7. I'm always drawn to Eiffel Tower things

8. Owning a t-shirt that says "I don't know" would complete me. Or "I think". Or "Probably". BECAUSE I SAY THESE WAYYYYY TOOOOO MUCCHHHHH. People who know me, what do you say to this? xP xP

9. I love spending money way too much. #help

10. Some of my favorites book series' when I was younger were the Magic Tree House books, The Viking Quest series, and the Mandie books. :)

11. The last movie I watched in theaters was Little Women (2019). It was good!

12. Pineapple 100% belongs on pizza. In fact, Hawaiian pizza is probably the best kind. *sticks tongue out at those I just triggered* lol

13. I didn't get a smartphone until I was 17. #homeschooled

14. When I was younger I picked up frogs and toads. I probably would still dare- small ones. ;P My siblings try to call me prissy. I'm not.

15. My favorite animals are probably horses and birds... and maybe kittens. And I kinda like foxes too. *winks*

16. I have freckles (trying to think of more things about myself.....).

17. When I was around 10 or so, my favorite song was "Our God" by Chris Tomlin. I loved it.

18. Um, I can type with my eyes closed, LOL. Here's an example:

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still wanters
He restores my soul
He leads me in pathes of righteousness for his name sake
yea though I walk through the valley of the sshadow of death I will fear no evil
for you are with me
your rod and your staff they comfort me
you prepare a table before me in the precense of my enemies
you annoint my head with oil
my cup overflows
surely goodness and mercy will floww me all  the days of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

I may have mixed some versions... :P

19. I ran away when I was five, and got in a stranger's car. *nods* I was pretty stupid, as you just read. My mom and sister had left to go to a bridal shower, and I wanted to go... so I ran down our lonnggggg driveway and headed down the road. Someone stopped and had me get in their car, and they asked where I lived so they could bring me home, but then my dad showed up at the bottom of our driveway in his truck. And he brought me back to the house. I got spanked once my mom came home. xP

So there are nineteen things about me! I have probably said some of these on here before, but that's alright I guess. Have I told my "running away" story on here before?

Oh by the way, Liberty over at The Elegant Cowgirl did a post like this (the same number of random facts about yourself as your age), so go check hers out if you want to! ;)

Thrift Store Haul \\ VIDEO

Hey guys, happy Saturday to you! I am back. Without my March photo dump... I don't know if that's coming or not. xP I mean, I kinda want to do it?

HOWEVER, I recently recorded and created a video for you guys showing the things I bought while thrift shopping last Saturday! I know, the title already tells you what this is about, but... never mind.
So yes, three of my sisters and I had a nice shopping day at the best stores you can shop at. You know, Goodwill, the Salvation Army thrift store, and such. *winks* Oh, and when I say the Salvation Army thrift store we went to is so nice in the video, I mean they have a lot of good stuff there. :)

Anyhow, here you go!

...and the loud buzzing in the background is, I believe, the bathroom fan. I wanted it on because there were people in the house, and I didn't want them to hear me. xP The fan was a bad move though. Lol.

I actually recorded this video twice. And then melded the best (hopefully) of both together into one video. Though I'm still not 100% comfortable and un-awkward in front of the camera, I really enjoy doing these videos! :)

I hope you enjoyed it as well!

Two Casual-Dressy Outfits \\ New Posting Schedule

It's apparent I haven't made much of an effort to blog lately... sorry. :P But I did find something to post about today, pretty easily. I don't usually post on Sunday, but I haven't been following my schedule anyhow. *sticks out tongue* Since that's not working out, I decided I might as well start a new schedule. I'll try to post ONE day a week, every Saturday. We'll see what happens. ;)

So I'm just sharing a couple of casual\dressy outfits I put together. If you follow mine and my sister's little fashion Instagram account, over at fashion_rebels27, you may have seen this first one.

I especially love these jeans (may be my fav pair) and adorable little boots! I found these jeans at a garage sale for super cheap, and I like the fit and style on me. These boots are kind of my mom's, but she said I can keep them in my closet. *grins* I LOVE THEM.

I love this long tunic-type shirt, and my black wedges! :) These wedges are actually pretty comfortable. I took my first wedding pics wearing them. *winks*

Well that's all for now, guys!

Casual Cold-Weather Outfits Compilation

Hello, people!

How is your weekend going?? Did you get any ice or snow? We got ice-covered trees and grass and power lines and... you get the picture, right? But it all melted yesterday, and today was more fall and less winter. *winks*

Speaking of cold weather, that is what this post involves: casual outfits I put together for the fall-time {or winter, depending}. It's a lot of pictures of ME today, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Lol. xP

Distressed dark jeans: Garage sale find for 75 cents, I believe. And I love them. They do need to be stitched {where I accidentally ripped them more, oops} but I love the style\rise\fit of these jeans on me. Garage sales roooccckk. hehe.

Tan boots

Gray sweatshirt: Garage sale find for $1. It's soft and in nice condition, and Psalm 56:3 is on the back in pretty letters. It says "trust" on the front. *hearts*

Knit Beanie Hat: I bought this from Walmart- it was around $6 or so. So cute and the pom-pom is so soft and furry! It's like my little pet... *laughs* Ok, I'm weird.

{these pics ^^ were taken at my aunt and uncle's place while we were house-sitting for them}

Distressed light jeans: Garage sale find... maybe around $2 or so? I haven't worn these much yet, but they're comfy and e stretchy, with a waist rise that I like. I also like the rips. ;P I know the ripped jean fashion is really... kind of odd and impractical when you think about it? But I like how they look, so. *shrugs* It adds detail to your outfit.

Knit sweater top: Garage sale find as well, for idk, maybe $1-something. So because of this sweater, this outfit would probably look better on a girl with longer legs... but it still works. ;)

Blue scarf

"Jellypop" sneakers: Garage sale find, $1! Not exactly sure what to call these, but I found similar ones called "Jellypop Dallas Sneakers". In any case, they're super comfortable and easy to put on- you don't even have to tie the laces!

Black t-shirt

Red scarf: Garage sale find, probably $1

Distressed dark jeans

Black fur-trim boots

I really like this one! I'm really liking these colors nowadays; black and grays, as well as darker, deeper colors like red and navy blue. I guess maybe I'm starting to actually figure out the colors that are good on me. ;)

Striped t-shirt

Light blue button-up shirt: From our own garage sale we did with my aunts... probably $1

Light Jeans

"Jellypop" sneakers

Coral knit sweater: Goodwill, probably $4 or so

Striped t-shirt

Distressed dark Jeans

Tan boots

"Dream Big" t-shirt

Plaid button-up shirt

Distressed dark jeans

Brown lace-up boots: Goodwill? $5 or so

By the way, my sister Shantelle and I just started an Instagram account for fashion, so if you want to go check it out... click the picture below! We'd love a follow from you if it looks like something you'd enjoy. :)

RAINY AUTUMN PHOTO SHOOT \\ red and denim outfit + Thoughts on Seasons

Hey people! A happy, happy weekend to you all! *big smile*

What is your favorite season? spring, summer, fall, or winter? If you've been around here long enough, you probably know that, though I'm asking YOU this question, I probably couldn't answer it myself. Because I'm bad with favorites. And you'd be right xP
But I think that's okay. I like all the seasons. I think I'm usually ready for the next season when it comes. Each one is special. Every one has it's own unique and beautiful characteristics. Lends to you it's own special feeling.
Seasons keep life exciting! Y'ALL. I would never want it to be one season all year long. Like, how boring. Do you agree? Or could you happily live in one season forever? Let me know in the comments. *winks*

Where I live, fall is definitely here. Last Sunday it was kinda wet, and definitely overcast. My sister agreed to take some pictures of me in my church outfit (and I edited them).  I loved the slightly foggy, cloudy setting! Made for the perfect fall photo shoot. And my sister did good... I think maybe she should be my assistant when I start my photography business. ;P

that shirt. i found it at Goodwill rrecently. <3

WOULD YOU WEAR THIS OUTFIT? THOUGHTS ON SEASONS? SUNNY FALL DAYS, OR CLOUDY? (i like both xP *sorry not sorry*)

Blue Dress + Leggings Outfit

I found this blue dress on sale (or clearance?) at Sears while on my birthday excursion. This color blue is one of "my colors" I think, so it's nice to find clothes in that shade. :)

If you missed the first outfit I posted today, just click HERE.

Re-create this outfit with:

Short, dark blue dress * about $4 at Sears black leggings * from my mom, probably
orange sandals * thrift store, long ago
gold feather earrings * $2 at liquidation store (I think)

WHAT IS ONE COLOR THAT LOOKS GOOD ON YOU? THIS OUTFIT OR THE CREAM AND DENIM ONE??

Denim and Lace Outfit

I hope you're excited about more fashion posts, because I have some coming. Actually, I have two outfits to share today! *winks* There really isn't much to say in these posts... just show the outfits, and give the details of what I'm wearing. *shrugs* I hope you are inspired  in the way of dressing cute and feminine, as well as modest. :)

I found this jean skirt while on vacation this summer, so I bought it, because I didn't have one. ;) It was about five dollars at Goodwill. And yes, I went to the Goodwill out there at least three times. *laughs*

Re-create this outfit with:

Cream lace top * probably a hand-me-down or something
Jean skirt * about $5 at Goodwill
Sandals * $1 at garage sale
Necklace * hand-me-down from my mom

DO YOU LIKE JEAN SKIRTS? HOW ABOUT LACE?

Black and White Dress\\ Classy Vintage Style

Happy Tuesday to you all! How did the week start off for you? It's been good for me so far. I went to the chiropractor today {I guess I have scoliosis or something} and also bought a dress which I think will be the final choice for my uncle's wedding. :) My mom said she'd pay for half of it, so yay. I only have to pay $10. *winks* Every now and then I actually buy something at a normal store, like TJMaxx. :P

Anyhow, I decided to show you another of the good-deal dresses I found recently. This is not the one I bought today. This is a good old thrift-store dress!

{Yeah, my face looks kinda wierd ;P}

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Dress: $4 at Salvation Army

Shoes: somewhere around $5 {probably...} at Goodwill. I think my mom bought them for me once.

Necklace: I think it was something I got from my aunt for free way back.

Earings: Christmas gift

My "little" sister did a pretty good job with the pictures again... I had fun too. xP Weekly fashion shoots might become a thing around here. Lol. Not really, though I do have some more things I want to show y'all. :)

One of the things I like about this dress is that you don't have to wear a tank-top underneath it. *winks* It is on the shorter side, however, so definitely wear shorts under any dress like this. It would be nice if it was like, two inches longer. xP

Hope you enjoyed!

LIKE THIS DRESS OR THE LAST ONE BETTER?

Navy Embroider Dress\\ Outfit

We went shopping on Saturday. *cheers because I love buying things*

The outfit I wore on Sunday features my $3 Goodwill dress find: A navy blue dress with embroidered edges. I found it on the rack where people put the things they tried on but didn't want (check those!), and it ended up being the one thing I bought from Goodwill. It was half-off day, so yay for spending only three bucks. *winks*

OUTFIT DETAILS:

dress: $3 from Goodwill
sandals: $1 from garage sale
earrings: Christmas gift

A $4 outfit, guys! *winks* (I didn't actually wear the hair clip to church, but if we include that... hair clip: given to me xP)

My sister took these pictures of me... some of them turned out pretty nice. ;)

I found some things at the Salvation Army too, so maybe I'll give y'all some more outfits soon! What do you think?

WOULD YOU WEAR SOMETHING LIKE THIS? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF DRESS?
