Currently October 2017

Hello, we are just about halfway through October! *hears all the gasping, and yea, we should be used to this by now*

So yes, it's now time for the currently post of October! Except I'm changing it up some- less structure and more pictures. *winks* Does kinda sound like me.

Just jump into the randomness of happenings and moments...

Me and my mom went to a plant nursery one day and bought a bunch of stuff... herbs, an apple tree and fig tree, and other things. :) 

One of those days that actually feels like fall. I think we've been having a lovely number of those. ;) This was sometime after we got rain. I took some pictures that day that I'll have to share sometime.

\\ When you hear the rain on the roof

\\ When you rock out in the vehicle, while your mom and some of the siblings are in the store. Sometimes you just gotta not care *winks* 

\\ When your cat comes to visit you. *winks and laughs*

I drove my mom and a couple younger siblings to try find am Amish store one cool, overcast fall day. <3 We found an Amish farm stand of sorts... it was in a building. We got these yummy cherry tomatoes there.*winks*

\\ When you have to drive down some pothole dirt driveway that a couple Amish live off of, to see if there was a store there. There wasn't. Infringing on people's privacy.*facepalm* xP

My little sister and I made two apple pies that evening. =D 

We ate a piece the next morning. T'was good! <3

\\ When you thought you left the unpleasant world of having
cockroaches in the house. Then woa, look who shows up. *glares* Hopefully it'll just be the two or so, and no infestations again. Ew.


Last night we went to my homeschool group's fall party! It was fun, even though I didn't actually do much... or talk to people as much as I would've liked to. But the FEELING! Ooh. Cold fall air. Dark. Bringing the little brother to different booths and such in the parking lot to play games and win candy, or have a football "face painted" on his hand. *smiles* Going to the lighted pavillion to eat chili and dessert. Not to mention wearing boots and a cute new jacket. *grins*


So, what am I currently reading??

I started The Seahorse Legacy by Serena Chase! It's the third book in the Eyes of Everia series... and it's been quite a while since I've been in Everia. *winks* I'm probably in for some of those really late-night reading days. *grins*

Also double chocolate cookies, that "delicious spicy chicken dip" (what's it called???) and we'll mention the apple pie again. *winks*

Time for another currently post, folks! September isn't being any nicer than the other months when it comes to flying- by. ;P However, there have been some exciting things so far this month... it's been good. *smiles*

\\ Started school. Yay. Senior year. MY LAST YEAR!!!

\\ Turned 17! *confetti*

\\ Shopping day with the sisters! I found a black poncho-style shirt and a sweater half-off at Goodwill. So I payed only about 4 dollars. *smug look at those who buy new clothes* haha.

\\ Our fall co-op classes have started. This is my second to last time, since I'm a senior. o.o

\\ I wore boots for the first time of the season! It was this day of totally fall weather- I mean, wet, overcast, and cool. So yea, I wore boots. *winks* It's hot again though. :P

\\ Just, kinda spent a lot of money this month. *facepalm* need... a... job. Any suggestions? xP

\\ I'm trying out bullet journaling, guys. I'm taking a class on it in co-op, and it looks like fun for my artistic side. =)

\\ Does anyone else think super-duper high ponytails are really cute? Now that's a hairstyle I can actually put in my hair. *laughs*

\\ When you've been going to the same homeschool group for about three years and people still barely know anything about you, you see how socially impaired you are. ;P

\\ When someone almost mistakes you for your 20-year-old sister. Well THAT'S different. A very good different, I must say. It's not every day someone doesn't think you're really young, right? ;P

Time for July currently! Saturday should've been when I posted this, but I had something else scheduled for that day, and it was too late to get this post ready instead when I realized it was time for a Currently post... so yea...


CURRENT HAPPENINGS\\

\\ We've still been working at our house, but hopefully we can start moving in soon... We have all of our flooring in, except for the tile!

The floor is gorgeous. ;P  It's vintage style, so why wouldn't I like it? *winks*

\\ Also, we've gone to Sonics a couple times after working. Then I drove my dad's big Ram truck. I must not be a bad driver, because we all lived. ;P

\\ I've found little adventures along the way, but we haven't been doing much besides working at houses, running errands, and sitting at home on days off.

HOW'S LIFE, PEOPLE?

June 2017 \\ Currently

Here's the CURRENTLY post of June for y'all! I'm trying to change it up, as you'll probably see. I'm going to putting less details, because otherwise I just kinda repeat some of the same things in my monthly highlights post. 

So, currently this month!

\\ THINGS HAPPENING \\

We've been working on our house a lot. When we have to have the AC off because the windows are open... talk about sweating. *dies* That makes it so much worse to spend so many hours there. ;P

Going to Chick-fil-A with siblings on a day we took off from working at the house. :) Then we went to the store, and me and two of my sisters split a big bag of jelly beans. *grins* Those awesome little jelly beans with allll the different flavors. I'd like if there were a little more coffee flavors, and buttered popcorn. xD 

Then driving home with the window down and music on. 

Hanging out with friends and family most Sundays for Bible study. We're not having this week though.

\\ CURRENTLY STUCK IN MY HEAD\\

Alone by Hollyn is a song I recently heard for the first time. It has a little more of a "wild" beat than what I normally listen to, but I like it. It's passionate, and has a good message. *winks*

Two of my sisters love these books, so it's pretty much a guarantee I'll love them. ;P It's been good so far! A little creepy too, because Vane... yikes. And the evil king.

\\ MOMENTS \\

Ordering your food at a restaurant and you kinda know the person working there. First having to correct something you said, then asking "what?" a million times because you didn't hear what they said. ;P Nice.

Your brother, putting some stuff that kills cockroaches behind the refrigerator. "Ah, I could put this in someones lemonade!" *shakes head*

Your brother with what's left of a can of something that cleans up oil paints and stuff. Puts some on a stick thing and lights it on fire, then puts it into the can. All fascinated, of course. Boys and fire. *winks and laughs*

While painting trim and such at our house, my brother's (again) make-belief thing about owning the best paint company, and we're his workers. His pretend\story things are so funny. xP

Taking a walk down the road with my sisters, with our bowls full of jelly beans. xD 

All the twilight\night walks with siblings, with the fireflies, the moon, the stars, and the smell of summer. *sigh*

Another month is flying by. *gasps for breath* Life is going by too fast, guys!

HAPPENINGS SO FAR\\

\\ Strawberries! 

\\ My grandparents came for a little while, so we had a family get-together. A barbeque, ice cream, talking walks down the road, you know. That came with some interesting adventures, but it was fun. *winks*

\\ Pruned bushes... so exciting.

\\ Got up early in the morning to go garage-saling! I found an amazing deal on a nice tri-pod!

\\ Hanging out...

\\ I attempted to curl my hair (why do I even try?) using this method I found once (the link- it's the first pin on there). You put your hair in a ponytail and curl that, but I ended up curling it more after taking the ponytail out. It still wasn't very curly. *glares at my straight hair* It makes it look so easy, but maybe that's because the person doesn't have as thick of hair as me. However, it wasn't all a loss. 

I still got waves. *winks*

\\ On Sunday my family, relatives and some other people started a Bible study. I helped with all the kids. ;) It was fun seeing people.

\\ We haven't done much this month, so far, but there is ONE big thing happening. We bought a house! After living in a rental for almost three years, we are finally going to move into our own place. Pretty exciting, even though I'm sure I'll miss this place. ;)

 Time for my first Currently post of the year! I haven't really done anything too cool, but the post shall happen none-the-less. ;)


RECENT AND CURRENT HAPPENINGS\\

I made up a new recipe on the first of January. :)

Started watching this TV show called Alone. My dad found it, and one night we stayed up WAY to late watching it, and I was SO tired! ;P It's about these people who go and survive alone out on Vancouver Island, and the last one there wins 500,000 dollars. It's an interesting show, though there is swearing, as there usually is in those shows. I wish they'd bleep out ALL the swears. ;)

We went to some science show with our home-school group.

Most of the month has been pretty boring...

BUT. My two older siblings came on Friday! It's been pretty nice, and we've got some awesome stuff to do. ;D ;D Movies, restaurants, shopping, we're gonna do it ALLLL. Well. Maybe. :P ;D

I'm getting more comfortable driving, which is awesome. :) Maybe I'm weird, but I almost feel more at ease driving at night... and in town. ;P Maybe not, but it kind of feels like that. Maybe because the roads in town aren't skinny.  

Me and a couple of my siblings went outside with a tarp on a windy day! :D I wanted to FLLYYY! Yea, that didn't happen. But it was fun. The wind in a tarp is powerful! I had fun being "crazy" for a little bit. ;P

Anyhow, the book has been really good- a very unique historical. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it. ;) I'm thinking it'll be a 5 star. ;D

   Hey! How has October been for everyone? It's been a good month for me, especially considering the event of today... no more! Proceed to my "current happenings" for the exciting details! ;D 


CURRENT HAPPENINGS\\

\\The weather. It's been struggling a little to let fall take over. But today it was rainy and cold, so, a good sign. ;P

\\I started a photography site! (which I've already told you...) Click here to visit it.

\\Eleventh grade continues on for me. I haven't had very many subjects, but I started an economics book yesterday. It's nice to feel like your doing enough. ;) I'll see how I like economics, though... *suspicious look* ;P

\\I found this lovely record player at a garage sale! :D

and last, but not least...

\\ I GOT MY DRIVER'S PERMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D =D YES, FINALLY! Here's the story. So, on Monday, I went to take it, but promptly failed the VISION test, of all things. :P So yesterday I went to the eye doctor. And picked out glasses. Then I went to try take my test again today. Nervous. I had to take the vision test again, though the eye doctor thought I wouldn't have to. I thought the guy might not let me go on to my written test (like he didn't the last time), but he did. Maybe I passed the vision test this time? Don't know. So, then he gave me the test and I sat down to take it. I was scared I was going to fail. After a long time (forty questions later) I brought the test up to the guy. And passed! It was awesome! Then I "the people" took my picture and all that, and I got got my permit card. :) So I can drive at last! 

OK, I'm done. Sorry about that huge story just about passing the written test. Don't even think about the drive test! *dies*

    Erm, I'm still reading The Captive Maiden, by Melanie Dickerson. :P Maybe you didn't know I was reading it, but I started it a while ago. I just haven't been reading much, apparently. It's been good, though! :)

 CURRENT MAKINGS\\

   I made some "business" cards for my photography just before the garage sale we had. It was too windy to put them out on display, though. :P I'll probably have to revise these sometime, because the writing at the bottom isn't very clear.

   And if you saw my bedroom tour, you know I made this closet shoe etc. shelf. ;) I didn't make it myself, unfortunately. ;P

   Sour berry gummi worms. ;) I think I ate too many today, though. I kind of have bad self- control many times sometimes. :P 

  And yesterday we tried this Healthy Vegan Mac & Cheese last night. It was fair enough. It's made with sweet potatoes, nutritional yeast, and other things, which is quite good for you, but doesn't really taste like macaroni and cheese. ;)


CURRENTLY BOUGHT\\

  After I failed my vision test, we went to some stores... including Goodwill. That means cool stuff, right? ;) Anyhow, I went to look for records.

   I found one of Gospel songs (don't think I know the singers, though), and this one by Jim Reeves. He was recommended to me, so I got it. Don't know if this particular record is a good one or not...? I didn't listen to much of it yet.
