Black and White Dress\\ Classy Vintage Style

Happy Tuesday to you all! How did the week start off for you? It's been good for me so far. I went to the chiropractor today {I guess I have scoliosis or something} and also bought a dress which I think will be the final choice for my uncle's wedding. :) My mom said she'd pay for half of it, so yay. I only have to pay $10. *winks* Every now and then I actually buy something at a normal store, like TJMaxx. :P

Anyhow, I decided to show you another of the good-deal dresses I found recently. This is not the one I bought today. This is a good old thrift-store dress!

{Yeah, my face looks kinda wierd ;P}

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Dress: $4 at Salvation Army

Shoes: somewhere around $5 {probably...} at Goodwill. I think my mom bought them for me once.

Necklace: I think it was something I got from my aunt for free way back.

Earings: Christmas gift

My "little" sister did a pretty good job with the pictures again... I had fun too. xP Weekly fashion shoots might become a thing around here. Lol. Not really, though I do have some more things I want to show y'all. :)

One of the things I like about this dress is that you don't have to wear a tank-top underneath it. *winks* It is on the shorter side, however, so definitely wear shorts under any dress like this. It would be nice if it was like, two inches longer. xP

Hope you enjoyed!

50's Dress for a Dollar \\ Strawberries

One Saturday {a week ago, actually} we went on a family outing to some garage sales. Fun stuff, of course. ;) I found some things to buy, including a black purse, clothes, and a movie. However, the coolest thing I bought was at a senior center, where there were twenty sales- I think- in one big room. My sister showed me these two authentic-looking vintage dresses. 50's dresses. My interest was quite peaked of course, because I always like vintage things! So I asked the person selling them how much they were.

SHE SAID TWO DOLLARS FOR BOTH!

I did not expect them to be that cheap, even at a garage sale! We bought them, obviously. Who could pass up a vintage dress for a dollar? Not me! xP

Definitely one of the perks of thrift\garage saling: you just never know what you may find, and for what price!

Eek, isn't it cute?

Here we are, dressed up vintage with our one dollar dresses. *grins* We just need to learn to do 50's hair and makeup. At least we have red lipstick. *winks*

I also have a few strawberry pictutes to finish off this post with. One morning recently we went to an Amish farm to pick some strawberries. I thought they made fun pictures next to our cowboy boots. *winks*

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE RETRO DRESS? FAVE STRAWBERRY PICTURE?

Forties- Style Photo Shoot

Here are some pictures I took of my sister the other day. It's kinda a forties look. :)

Hope you enjoy!

Two Retro Ladies

Me and this little lady did a retro photo shoot the other day... after I took the Autumn Pictures of her. ;) I had to use a tripod.

Of course, I have to show you all these! ;)

She didn't really have any very retro-looking dresses. This blue flower one worked fine, though. :) Then she wore one of my new necklaces, and a blue headband.
I put a skirt and shirt together, both white and black, only with different sized polka-dots. I think it worked nice, though. :) I wore my new red necklace, a red belt, and black heels. ;) Oh- we both wore red lipstick, but it kind of faded... looks for pink. :P

I edited a lot of these pictures. Mostly just the coloring to make it more "retro-looking". ;) I did more on some, though.

I think my outfit looked kind of like 40's... but maybe I don't know! :P

I really like this one. :) It's one that I edited more, but my hair also looks better. I should've pinned it back like that.

Our dog was in a bunch of my pictures. She wanted to pose with me, apparently. :P

I hope you enjoyed these retro fashion pictures! ;)

WHAT ERA DO YOU THINK MY OUTFIT WOULD BEST FIT IN? HAVE YOU EVER DRESSED UP RETRO?

Photo Gallery: Little Vintage Boy

Hey all! Summer's about here! :D It's been nice... :)

I took some pictures I took of this cutie today. They sort of have an old fashioned feel, so I put that in my title. ;)

Isn't he soo adorable with his hair spiked up like that? :D

Goofball! <3

Hugging his bear... aww! <3

I'm helping in vacation Bible school all week until Friday. I'm the leader of four kids... I've never been a leader, so this is a new experience. :P I'm not the greatest at it, since I'm not very good at talking, even to kids. But it went fine today. :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed the photo gallery! <3
