So, thought I'd do a post to reflect back on 2015.
SOME THINGS WE DID THIS YEAR
Uh, yea, so we don't do much around here. (And it isn't my doing... Sometimes when I want to go to town, I have to drag people out the door to bring me! Not really, but, you know. :D )
But we did do some things. I think we took only one vacation this year, to see family. That was in the spring, I believe.
This summer we swam a few times at the YMCA pool... Uh, went to the lake a little bit. Me and my mom helped organize a mission house. :) Oh, of course I took lots of pictures, too. ;) We went to a car museum also.
This fall, (which we recently came out of), some family came out and we went to some cool caves, as you may have seen in one of my posts. I videod my siblings reenacting some scenes from Beyond the Mask for a contest, but we missed it. :( But it was fun. One of them, we walked out into a field to this big... what do you call it? pond\puddle of water. Fun-ness. :D
And so far this winter, made a gingerbread house, cleaned at my dad's spec house and took some things from the dumpster there, which was fun... I even used a board from that dumpster as a Christmas present. I painted a flower over the whole thing, and covered it with mod podge. :D Junk is sometimes treasure, especially to me. We also had Christmas this winter, obviously.
It was a good year, but hopefully this coming year, we DO MORE! Please. I need some excitement and adventure! :)
2015... READING
I nearly completed my Goodreads goal of 30 books in 2015. :) (uh, counting a couple juvenile animal books I read for school.) But I really got back into reading, and read some great books this year. A few are:
RESISTACE, THE KING'S SCROLLS, and HALFBLOOD, by Jaye L. Knight
THE REMEDY, by Serena Chases
CINDERELLA'S DRESS, by Shonna Slayton
THE MESSENGER, by Siri Mitchel
LETTER PERFECT, by Cathy Marie Hake
ROSES FOR MAMA and WHEN CALLS THE HEART, by Janet Oke
THE WORD CHANGERS, by Ashlee Willis
ASHBURN, by Julia Erickson
2015... MOVIES
WHEN CALLS THE HEART, seasons 1&2
and the When Calls the Heart NEW YEAR'S WISH! Which I watched the other day. This show is the best! Me and my siblings might all pitch in to buy each episode of season 3 off iTunes when it starts... in February I think.
CINDERELLA, 2015
BEYOND THE MASK
THE HOBBIT: BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES
SOME OF MY PHOTOGRAPHY FROM 2015
This year has seriously been a wonderful year of photography! I had my first photo session, and I'm thinking I probably learned a lot... The camera got wrecked, so I guess, though that's a bad thing, I'm getting a break from the stress of trying to capture everything? But... I may be getting an Nikon DSLR camera sort of soon! :) :) :) You know, more of a professional one, that can change lenses and all. :D
So, I got some of my favorite pictures of this year... don't count on these being my absolute best pictures- since its hard to narrow it down. ;) I have a ton of pictures.
(I have these first three large, because I haven't posted them. [from Thanksgiving, BTW] )
( If you happen to want to see these pictures up close, just click on them )

MY SORT-OF NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR 2016
To get on a school- day schedule... although I'm not very good at resolution-izing. X-) Hopefully I can pull it off.
HOPES FOR 2016
Here are some things I'd like to happen in the coming year.
*A trip to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in a LoNg time.
*A trip to Washington. :) That would be fun!
*Get a camera. :)
*Driver's training and getting my license. I can't get my permit until I'm 16, otherwise we might have looked into driver's training already.
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
COMMENT AND SHARE YOUR HOPES FOR 2016!
Sounds like you had a good year! :D I'm going to Drivers Ed. this February with two of my cousins, which I'm nervous about! I do have my permit, but I haven't driven at all yet! My dad will probably teach me soon. (He'll have to before the classes start ;D)
ReplyDeleteIt was a good year! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, cool! I hope that goes well for you. :) I have have already driven even though I haven't done Driver's Ed. yet... XD Not on any busy roads though. I'm glad to have a head start for Driver's Ed. :)
My mom took me to the park today, and I practiced driving! It was actually easy, and even fun! ;)
DeleteYes, driving is fun! :)
